The Mayfair Collective

The Woman’s Space celebrates & facilitates women of achievement – with Jo Malone speaking about the issues facing women today – 5 Carlos Place, Mount Street, London W1.

Could there be a more appropriate time to launch a women-only co-working space than International Women’s Day? The retailers of luxury shopping destination Mount Street certainly don’t think so, as they’re doing just that. The Women’s Space, which seeks to celebrate and facilitate women of achievement, will be hosted for one week in a two-storey Edwardian townhouse on Carlos Place; the concept is part of a year-long initiative of talks and workshops focusing on fashion, culture, business and the arts called The Mayfair Collective, and will merge a lively and inclusive co-working space with an event space that will host daily talks for members to attend.

Highlights include a morning talk and Q&A with Rosie Stancer, who is one of 20 women who comprise the first all-female polar expedition, and Jo Malone speaking about the issues facing women today, as well as panel discussions about female philanthropy, gender imbalance in fashion, and popular representations of women in the 21st century. And the very best part? Membership is free, so there’s no reason not to attend.
