Lucky enough to win the talents of CAT
A bit of legend in the world of expedition photography, the supremely talented Cat Vinton joins the team of women crossing the Desert of Death. The Taklamakan Anglo-Chinese Expedition will test her skills.

Cat came highly recommended by Martin, our original designated photographer. Martin handed over his role, not only on account of having had to take on other assignments but also graciously acknowledging that Cat is better suited and infinitely more experienced with desert environments than the ice where he is more at home. He ‘fessed that he found the heat debilitating which is of not much use to anyone in the circs! Cat herself is a bit of a legend in the world of expedition photography – supremely talented, stacks of experience and thousands of very rugged miles under her expedition belt. Many of these miles include desert ones, so she’s more than up to the job in both photographic skills and fitness, so I’d suggest we all make sure our levels of fitness are up to the mark to avoid embarrassment… do take a look at some of her work on links below:
